There is no support-charge in respect of phone calls themselves, however a time charge will apply to all remote-control work, and to requests for background-work, for example product research, which involves time in addition to that spent on the call itself.When emailing, plaintext messages are preferred in the interests of computer security. HTML messages will be accepted, as will Acrobat (PDF) documents. However, other forms of attachment -especially those capable of carrying viruses- should preferably not be sent without good reason. If this sounds a little paranoid, please remember that we use our computers to store data for a number of clients, so the need to maintain security against malware is somewhat greater for us than for the typical user. Where a message contains such an attachment, please state in the email body what the attachment is, and why it is being sent.
