A Network-oriented logon applet for Windows

MyLogon provides the advantages of a server-based logon and centralised data storage to small-business workgroups. It does so without requiring the cost, complexity and maintenance-overhead associated with the Active Directory Domain approach to local networking, as typically required by other small-business networking products. Migration of standalone or workgroup computers into a MyLogon network is extremely simple, and avoids the problems of loss-of-settings and loss-of-access to the user's data commonly experienced when joining standalone computers to an Active Directory Domain.

Features:

Permits "Any user, any computer" logon.

Transforms ad-hoc workgroup into a 'real' network.

Well-suited to data-entry "kiosk" applications.

Saves on licensing-costs for very small networks.

Permits Windows XP Home to join a network.

Ideal for laptop-users who visit several sites.

Suits most Windows servers, and Linux/Samba.

Simplifies user-account management.
